It has been more than week since Ranveer Allahbadia made the insensitive remark on Samay Raina’s show, India’s Got Latent, however, the controversy around it is refusing to die. Now, Tanmay Bhat has shared a cryptic post that many social media user think is a subtle jibe at the ongoing controversy.
The content creator recently took to his Instagram to share a funny yet cryptic video, wherein Tanmay, who happens to be a friend of Samay, is seen dancing in slow motion to the popular song Ranjha by B Praak from Shershaah, particularly to the lyrics – Mera Dola Ni Aaya. His friend, Naveed Manakkodan, is also featured in the clip.
The post was captioned, “Me watching the news everyday.”
While Tanmay has not explicit attached the clip to the controversy, several netizens feel that he is indirectly addressing the situation. Some have also speculated that he is expressing relief at having avoided involvement in the contentious episode of India’s Got Latent.
One of users commented, “Bro got flashback.” “Tanmay is happy that no case was filed against him,” wrote another. Another comment read, “Tanmay bhai ko to FOMO ho rha hoga news dekh kr.”
