Samay Raina hints at his comeback during his latest live performance in Canada

Samay Raina recently addressed the ongoing controversy surrounding his show, India’s Got Latent, during his live performance at Myer Horowitz Theatre in Edmonton, Canada. The comedian has been receiving severe backlash over the insensitive remark being made by Ranveer Allahbadia, when he appeared as guest on his show. It has also led to multiple FIRs being issued against the YouTubers.

During his show in Edmonton, Samay humorously referenced his situation. A fan, Shubham Dutta, shared on Facebook how the comedian, despite the visible stress, managed to make people laugh for two straight hours. The fan, who attended the show, said that he began his set by saying, “Thank you for paying my lawyer’s fees,” eliciting laughter from crowd.

He concluded his show with, “Shayad samay kharab chal raha hai mera, par yaad rakhna doston, main samay hoon,” which translates to “Maybe my time is bad at the moment, but remember, my friends – I’m time itself.”

How did Samay Raina respond to criticism over the derogatory remark on India’s Got Latent?

Samay issued a statement a week back, wherein he admitted to deleting all the episodes of India’s Got Latent from his YouTube channel. He cited that everything that is happening is “too much for him to handle.”
