As India’s much-anticipated Chandrayaan-3 mission edges closer to its scheduled launch, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has reached a crucial milestone with the ongoing loading of propellants into the launch vehicle.
ISRO has announced that the propellant loading process for the liquid L110 stage has been successfully completed. At present, the focus has shifted to loading propellants into the cryogenic C25 stage of the LVM3 (Launch Vehicle Mark-III) rocket, marking significant progress in the preparations for the lunar mission.
The propellant loading phase plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning and optimal performance of the launch vehicle during the mission. The precise handling and injection of propellants are critical to achieve the required thrust and trajectory necessary for Chandrayaan-3 to embark on its journey towards the Moon.
With propellant loading now underway, ISRO continues to demonstrate its commitment to meticulous planning and execution, leaving no room for error. The successful completion of this phase brings the mission one step closer to the highly anticipated launch from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota.
