As the Chandrayaan-3 mission approaches its launch, the Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), S Somanath, has arrived at the mission control center. With scientists conducting final checks on the rocket, the countdown is underway for the scheduled launch time of 14:35:17 (2.35 PM IST). Leading the mission as the director is S Mohana Kumar, a senior scientist from the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre.
