In a major announcement at Reliance Industries’ 47th Annual General Meeting today, Chairman Mukesh Ambani revealed that Jio will provide 100GB of free AI cloud storage to its users starting this Diwali. Ambani also unveiled plans to launch the Jio AI Welcome Cloud, a new cloud storage service.
“Thrilled to announce Jio AI-Cloud Welcome offer. Jio users will get up to 100 GB of free cloud storage, to securely store and access all their photos, videos, documents, all other digital content, and data. We plan to launch the Jio AI-Cloud Welcome offer starting Diwali this year, bringing a powerful and affordable solution where cloud data storage and data-powered AI services are available to everyone everywhere,” says Mukesh Ambani.
The free 100GB cloud storage offer is expected to significantly enhance Jio’s competitiveness in the Indian telecom market. The Jio AI Welcome Cloud will provide users with advanced AI-powered features and seamless integration with Jio’s suite of digital services.
The AGM is being closely watched for further updates on Reliance’s digital initiatives, potential IPOs of Jio and Reliance Retail, and the recently approved merger between Reliance and Walt Disney’s media businesses in India.
