In a billion years, no one would have thought that a person could have changed our world. Especially if that person was a middle aged black man called George Floyd. Who lived in the white supremacy of America. The world unites into a single fist screaming loud at apparent “fascists”, “Black Lives Matter!” It was fortunately secured that his involuntary sacrifice did not go in vain and that over 193 countries broke down the corrupt bureaucracy.

In one such fight towards equality. Hundreds of Reddit moderators have called on to the digital platform. They have asked to explicitly ban dialogues and comments that discriminate by color and use slurs at “disadvantaged” groups. The letter was sourced and traced on Monday signed by 300 moderators. It asked CEO Steve Huffman and its board of directors to take action. Against racist comments and hateful speeches in subreddits. Huffman following that week accomplishes changing policy openly stating. He and his company do not tolerate or empathize “hate, racism, and violence” and clearly support protests against law enforcements.

“These continued statements that you hear  is a priority. You working on it are not enough. Steve, if you and Reddit genuinely care about the values of standing up to racism and hate. Then you need to back it up with real action.” Spoke the Moderators asking for justice in the overdraft.

Additionally, cofounder Alexis Ohanian on Friday resigned from the board. Because, he has exclusively implored his seat to be filled by a black person. Keeping his requests in admiration and respect the board stated it would look over the matter.
