Google LLC is an American multinational technology company. It specializes in Internet-related services and products. These include online advertising technologies, a search engine, cloud computing, software, and hardware. Private browsing is a privacy feature in some web browsers. When operating in such a mode, the browser creates a temporary session that is isolated from the browser’s main session and user data. Google has its own private browsing service called “Incognito Mode”.

Google LLC has officially been dragged to court. It has been sued for 5 Billion US Dollars in San Francisco USA. The accusations state Google collected user information even when they surfed through the Incognito Mode. The Incognito Mode depicts that the user has complete privacy from being located or looked at. This action lawsuit has been filed in the US District Court of the Northern District of California. Moreover, Google seems to have broken another ethical law. It states that consent of user is required before information or other sensitive data can be collected. Lest, Google did not even provide guidelines or information of any how before live tracking of users. By the Federal Wiretap Act the consumers have every right to put forth a lawsuit against the violator.

It is suggested through sources that Google Analytics was used to track data. A joint study from Microsoft, Carnegie Mellon University and University of Pennsylvania was conducted. It successfully investigated that 22, 484 sexually explicit websites collected 93% user data and sold it to third parties. It also said Facebook and Google tracked about 23% users on non-explicit websites as well.
