Google has officially confirmed an online launch event for September 30, the company has confirmed in an invitation to the press that it will launch the next line up of its products which includes the Pixel 5, a new Chromecast and new Nest speaker.
Google’s launch night will take place on Wednesday, September 30. The event will likely introduce the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G. Along with these smartphones, google also teases a new speaker in its email. This speaker can be the Nest speaker that Google showed off in a single image and teaser video earlier this year.
There are also hints that there will be a Chromecast refresh as well. Leaks suggest that Chromecast, which is internally known as Sabrina will run android TV and come with a remote. The new Chromecast is said to be drastically different from the previous generations Chromecast devices. It is rumored that it will come with a Bluetooth remote and a dedicated Google Assistant button. This will definitely make operating the content on the TV a lot easier.
There are also speculations that Google may also show off a new thermostat model at this event as the hardware just hit the FCC last week.
