Connections is the latest puzzle game from the New York Times, offering a fun twist on categorization challenges. Your task is to group 16 given words into four sets of four by figuring out how they are related. The puzzle resets every night at midnight, and you can track your streak and compare scores with friends, much like Wordle.

How to Play Connections:

In Connections, you’ll see a grid with 16 words. Your goal is to sort these words into four groups of four based on their connections. These groups could be anything from types of fruit to famous authors or colors.

Some words might seem to fit multiple themes, but there’s only one correct way to categorize them. You can shuffle the grid to better visualize potential connections.

The groups are color-coded to help you. The easiest group to figure out is yellow, followed by green, blue, and purple.

Select four words and click Submit. If your group is correct, the words will be removed from the grid, and the theme will be revealed. Incorrect guesses count as mistakes, and you have a limit of four mistakes before the game ends.
