Cooperating with friends is essential for success in Once Human. When you jump into a server with your buddies, setting up a shared base is one of your first priorities. The game offers plenty of customization and building options, but each player can only build within their own territory by default. While you could each set up separate bases nearby, working together on a communal base is far more enjoyable. Here’s a quick guide on how to share a base with your friends in Once Human.

How to Share a Base in Once Human

  1. Join the Same World: Make sure you and your friends are on the same server and world. You can’t switch servers, but you can change worlds within the server to find each other.
  2. Add Each Other as Friends: Ensure you’re all friends in the game. Look at each friend, press Z, and then select “Add Friend” to make sure you’re connected.
  3. Open the Menu: Once you’re all friends, open your menu and go to the Friends tab.
  4. Set Friend Permissions: Go to “Friend Permissions” and enable the options for Access to Facilities, Building, and Storage. This allows your friends to contribute to and use your base.

By following these steps, you and your friends can collaborate effectively, creating a communal base where everyone can contribute and benefit. Happy building!
