Among Us, a popular social deduction game will be made available on various consoles for PlayStation and Xbox starting December 14. The game will be available simultaneously on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox Game Pass. Currently, the game is available on the Google Play Store, the iOS App Store, Steam, itch.io, Switch, the Epic Games Store, and the Windows Store.
The launch was announced by the official Twitter handle of Among US on Thursday, October 21. For the launch, the mobile and computer game has been adapted to a console-type video game and will now offer crossplay and online multiplayer modes across all the supported consoles, mobiles and PCs.
The only variation between its mobile and console version will be that PlayStation players will get exclusive access to Ratchet and Clank-themes skins and hats to change their in-game character’s appearance.
In addition to the Xbox and PlayStation versions of Among Us, the company is also launching a few variants of physical copies of the extremely popular social deduction game.
Among Us’ Crewmate edition will be made available in Europe and the UK on December 14, Japan and South Korea on December 16, and the US, Canada, and Latin America on January 11, 2022. The physical edition will come with a physical disc or cartridge, downloadable wallpapers, stickers, a Skeld map poster, a holographic access card, and all the DLC and is expected to cost $29.99.
Meanwhile, The Imposter edition and Ejected edition of the game will launch in Spring 2022. The Imposter edition, priced at $49.99, will include everything in the Crewmate edition, with an addition of a “Spinning Into Space” enamel pin, a lanyard, and a purple crewmate toy.
The Ejected edition, on the other hand, will include all the contents of the Imposter edition but will come with an exclusive steel bookcase, an Among Us-themed blanket, and a red imposter beanie. The costliest variant in the physical edition line-up of Among Us, the Ejected edition will be priced at $89.99.
