Xiaomi, the leading smartphone and smart device manufacturer, launched its much-awaited Smart TV A series in India. The new lineup comprises three variants with screen sizes of 32 inches, 40 inches, and 43 inches, all equipped with Google TV integration and Xiaomi’s proprietary Vivid Picture Engine. These feature-rich smart TVs also come with powerful 20W speakers, Dolby Audio, and DTS Virtual:X support, ensuring an immersive audiovisual experience.
The Xiaomi Smart TV A series offers users the choice of different screen sizes to suit their preferences and space requirements. The base model, Xiaomi Smart TV 32A, boasts a 32-inch screen, while the larger variants, Xiaomi Smart TV 40A and Xiaomi Smart TV 43A, come with 40-inch and 43-inch displays, respectively.
In terms of pricing, the Xiaomi Smart TV A series is competitively positioned, with the 32-inch model starting at Rs. 14,999. As an introductory offer, the base model can be purchased for a discounted price of Rs. 13,999. The 40-inch variant is priced at Rs. 22,999, and the 43-inch model comes with a price tag of Rs. 24,999. These smart TVs will be available for purchase starting July 25 at 12:00 pm IST through various channels, including Mi.com, Mi Homes, Flipkart, and authorized retail stores.
One of the highlights of the Smart TV A series is its integration with Google TV, allowing users to access a wide range of apps and live TV directly from their home screen. Additionally, the built-in Google Chromecast feature enables seamless streaming of movies and shows from users’ smartphones to the TV. The new PatchWall+ service further enhances the viewing experience, providing over 200 live TV channels at no extra cost.
To cater to diverse viewing preferences, Xiaomi has included IMDb integration, Live TV, Universal Search, and a Kids Mode with parental lock. The integration of YouTube on PatchWall enables easy access to YouTube Music content directly from the PatchWall Music Tab.
Under the hood, the Smart TV A series is powered by a Quad Core A35 chipset, coupled with 1.5GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The metallic design with minimal bezels adds to the aesthetic appeal of the smart TVs.
In terms of connectivity, the new Xiaomi Smart TVs offer dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth v5.0 options. For additional flexibility, users can utilize two HDMI ports with support for ARC and ALLM, two USB 2.0 ports, an AV port, and a headphone jack.
Furthermore, Xiaomi introduces a new Bluetooth remote with the Smart TV A series, featuring convenient functions such as Quick Mute, Quick Wake, and Quick Settings. With the Quick Mute feature, viewers can instantly mute the TV by double-tapping the volume down key, while Quick Wake enables users to power on the TV within seconds.
