Samsung on Thursday (September 4, 2025) globally unveiled the Galaxy S25 FE, the newest addition to the Galaxy S25 lineup which also includes the S25, S25+, S25 Ultra and S25 Edge. The company positioned the FE as a youth-focused smartphone, highlighting features like instant slow motion, generative edit and audio eraser powered by artificial intelligence.

Key specifications

The Galaxy S25 FE features a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 1,900 nits peak brightness and a 120 Hz refresh rate, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+. It runs on the Exynos 2400 processor paired with 8 GB RAM and up to 512 GB storage, operating on One UI 8 based on Android 16. Samsung has committed to 7 years of OS and security updates.

The phone carries a 4,900 mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. It is also IP68-rated for water and dust resistance. A larger vapor chamber ensures better thermal management.

Camera setup

The Galaxy S25 FE sports a triple rear camera setup with a 50 MP primary sensor, 12 MP ultrawide lens and 8 MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. It can record videos in 8K at 30fps. On the front, the device features a 12 MP camera for selfies and video calls.

AI integration

Samsung emphasized AI-driven features and announced that the phone will ship with Alphabet Inc.’s Gemini Live chatbot integrated into the system. Buyers will also get six months of the Google AI Pro plan with access to expanded Gemini features.

Availability and colours

The device will be available in Navy, White and Jet Black colours, with storage variants of 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB. While global sales begin September 4, Samsung will announce India-specific pricing and availability in the coming days.
