On Saturday, the Poco M6 Pro 5G smartphone was introduced in India. This device has a dual back camera configuration with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC. Starting on August 9 at 12 PM IST, the smartphone will be sold in India. A 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W rapid charging powers the device. Out of the box, it uses MIUI 14 based on Android 13. The Poco M6 Pro 5G has a 6.79-inch display, which the company claims to be the largest among its smartphones.
Today, Poco M6 Pro 5G’s release date was announced. The smartphone’s release was announced by the Poco India account in a post on X. The device is dubbed a “5G disrupter.”
On the smartphone, Poco offers two storage and RAM choices. Priced at Rs. 10,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage basic model and Rs. 12,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model. On August 9 at 12 PM IST, the Poco M6 Pro 5G will go on sale in India. In the nation, Flipkart will be the only place to buy the smartphone.
This 5G smartphone was introduced by the Xiaomi sub-brand and features a 6.79-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The Poco M6 Pro 5G’s screen is covered in Gorilla Glass 3. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC powers it. It comes pre-installed with MIUI 14, which is based on Android 13, and it offers 3 years of security updates in addition to two major OS updates.
The smartphone has a dual camera setup on the back that consists of a 50-megapixel AI sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It has an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls that is housed in a hole punch cut-out in the back.
