Impending global launch imminent as benchmark listings reveal Oppo’s Reno 10 Pro Series specifications

Oppo’s highly acclaimed Reno 10 Pro series, which made its debut in China last month, appears to be gearing up for a global launch. Recent benchmark listings on the popular Geekbench website suggest that the global and Indian variants of the Oppo Reno 10 Pro and Reno 10 Pro+ could be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processors. Although Oppo has yet to make an official announcement regarding the international availability of the series, the benchmark listings reveal significant details about the smartphones, including their powerful processing capabilities and generous RAM configurations.

According to the Geekbench website, two Oppo handsets with model numbers CPH2525 and CPH2521 were recently spotted. It is speculated that CPH2525 represents the Oppo Reno 10 Pro, while CPH2521 corresponds to the Oppo Reno 10 Pro+. The benchmark listings indicate that these devices might run on the latest Android 13 operating system.

The Oppo Reno 10 Pro listing on Geekbench reveals impressive scores of 2,739 points in single-core testing and 1,013 points in multi-core testing. The listing suggests that the device will be equipped with 11.04GB of RAM, which likely translates to a total of 12GB of memory. Additionally, an octa-core chipset is expected to power the phone, featuring four prime CPU cores with a maximum clock speed of 2.40GHz and four cores capped at 1.80GHz. These CPU speeds align closely with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G SoC, as they share the same codename for the motherboard, namely ‘Lahaina.’

On the other hand, the Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ achieved a single-core score of 1,723 and a multi-core score of 4,241 in the Geekbench tests. The listing suggests that the Indian variant of the Reno 10 Pro+ will come with 10.96GB of RAM, likely amounting to 12GB of memory. The smartphone will be powered by a chipset with the codename ‘Taro,’ featuring a prime CPU core clocked at 3.0GHz, three cores capped at 2.50GHz, and four cores capped at 1.80GHz. These specifications indicate the presence of a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC in the Oppo Reno 10 Pro+.

It’s important to note that the Chinese variant of the Oppo Reno 10 Pro currently runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, while the Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ features a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

In China, the Oppo Reno 10 Pro is priced at CNY 3,499 (approximately Rs. 41,000), while the Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ 5G starts at CNY 3,899 (approximately Rs. 45,000). However, Oppo is yet to disclose pricing details and other specifications for the Reno 10 Pro series in other markets, including India.
