The OnePlus Nord Buds 2R, which have 12.4mm titanium-coated dynamic drivers, are said to provide up to 8 hours of music playing and an extra 30 hours when used with the charging case. Each earbud is said to include two microphones that provide AI-enhanced noise cancellation during conversations, according to the business. The cost of the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R in India is set at Rs. 2,199, and both the company’s website and Amazon will sell the TWS earbuds. Deep Grey and Triple Blue are the available colour options for purchase. These TWS earbuds are less priced at Rs. 2,199 than the Rs. 2,999 OnePlus Nord Buds 2 that the firm introduced in April. The Nord Buds 2R’s inability to offer active noise cancellation (ANC) is the primary distinction between these two versions.

The recently released OnePlus Nord Buds 2R have 12.4mm dynamic drivers enclosed in a plastic earbud case that, according to OnePlus, was tested on a variety of people to optimise the fit and compatibility. The earbuds include Dolby Atmos compatibility, which is only supported by a select few smartphones starting with the OnePlus 7 and later variants. The Dirac Audio Tuner function on it is compatible with other OnePlus smartphones.
The new Nord Buds 2R earbuds, according to OnePlus, include two microphones that, in conjunction with the business’s AI Clear Call technology, help to reduce background noise during voice conversations by filtering out outside noise and recognising human voices. When making phone calls, it is also said that this will lessen noise from windy or loud surroundings.
The charging case has a 480mAh cell that is believed to extend battery life by an additional 38 hours. Each earbud contains a 36mAh battery with a stated power life of up to eight hours. With Bluetooth 5.3 connection, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R earbuds can be charged through a USB Type-C connector on the case. On the OnePlus 6 and more recent devices, they can be connected utilising OnePlus’ Fast Pair function.
Users who do not own OnePlus phones may link the earphones with the HeyMelody app on Android, but according to the manufacturer, the earbuds are not compatible with the iOS version of the app. The IP55 grade for water and sweat resistance applies to the earphones. The manufacturer claims that each earbud weighs around 4.3g, while the charging case weighs 38.1g.
