OnePlus has confirmed that it will be launching new affordable smartphone series in India, in an official announcement. It has been revealed that low-budget phones will be first launched in countries like India and Europe. It is also planning to launch affordable smartphones in North America, but not in the near future.

OnePlus’ CEO Pete Lau said, “As we have always done when we try something new, we are going to start relatively small with this new product line by first introducing it in Europe and India.”

The rumours of OnePlus launching these low-budget smartphones in July have been doing the rounds. The testing phase has already started and before launching the smartphone officially, OnePlus always reveals a few features just a few days ahead.

The brand has mentioned that the upcoming phones will offer premium and flagship experience, which further suggests that the company might not compromise big features in a big way. It is expected to offer 30W fast charging and 5G support with the new devices. There is a possibility of the new device being called OnePlus Z or Nord.
