OnePlus has always been one reputed brand for smartphones but lately it has grown to give tough competition to its competitor Apple. The Chines and the American company has been in race to provide most efficient and advanced features to its users.
Two phones – OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G and Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max – which were launched with gap of just a couple of months, shall be compared based on their display, battery and other inclusive features.
Display
OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G comes with IPS LCD with refreshing rate of 120Hz. Its screen-to-body ratio is 84.1% with size of 6.59 inches. The phone’s resolution is 1080 x 2412 pixels.
Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max has display of LTPO super retina XDR OLED screen which will be harmful to your eyes. The size of display is 6.7 inches with 88.3% screen-to-body ratio. It has resolution 1290 x 2796 pixels.
Camera
OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G has 64 MP, f/1,7 26mm (wide) of main camera with additional two cameras of 2 MP, f/2.4 (macro), 2 MP, f/2.4 (depth). The additional features include LED flash, HDR, and panorama. The video quality is of 1080 pixels at 30 frames per second (fps). Moreover, the selfie camera is of 16 MP, f/2.0 (wide) with HDR feature.
Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max have three main cameras to offer – 48 MP, ,f/1.8 24mm (wide), 12 MP f/2.8 77mm (telephoto), 12 MP, f/2.2 13mm (ultrawide). It also allows high tech vision of 4K @ 24/25/30/60 fps, 1080 @ 25/30/60/120/240 fps. The features include dual-LED dual-tone flash, HDR. The front camera is of 12 MP, f/1.9 23mm (wide) with features of HDR and cinematic mode. The phone is clearly built to stand out from the crowd.
Battery
OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G has a powerful battery of 5000 mAh with wired charging of 33W.
Comparatively, the iPhone 14 Pro Max has a rather underestimated lithium polymer non-removable battery of 4323 mAh. As per the advertisement, the phone can be 50% charged in around 30 minutes. It also allows wireless charging of 15W and 7.5W.
Platform
OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G supports operating system Android 12, which can be upgraded to Android 13, Oxygen OS 13. It comes with octa-core CPU and chipset of qualcomm SM6375.
Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max supports iOS version 16, which is upgradable to iOS 16.3. It comes with chipset of Apple A16 bionic and hexa-core CPU (2×3.46 GHz).
Memory
OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G has an expandable external memory as it comes with micro SDXC. The internal storage is 128 GB with 6 GB and 8 GB RAM.
Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max does not allow expanding its memory. However, it comes with range of internal storage options which goes up to 1 TB so I doubt if anyone needs any external memory. It has 6 GB RAM for 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB of internal storage.
