The Nothing Ear 2, which debuted in India earlier this year and costs Rs. 5,999, is a follow-up to the Nothing Ear 1. The Ear 2 have tailored drivers, up to 40dB of active noise suppression, and AI-backed microphones in each earbud. The earbuds may soon be released in a second colour option in addition to the current white one, according to a tipster. According to rumours, the new colour may be offered alongside the July 11 introduction of the Nothing Phone 2.

A black Nothing Ear 2 has been seen in leaked design renders by tipster Roland Quandt (@rquant). The pictures demonstrate how the semi-transparent design of the earphones in this variation is similar. The charging case’s internal components are visible in black. The earphones also prominently feature black colours.

In India, the Nothing Ear 2 earbuds went on sale for Rs. 9,999. They are now being sold on Flipkart and come in a white colour scheme. If a new colour option is introduced, it will probably be sold through the same source.

Three AI-backed microphones, 11.6mm bespoke drivers, and up to 40dB of active noise suppression are features of the Nothing’s Ear 2 in-ear headphones. Both earbuds contain straightforward touch controls that make it easy for consumers to do several tasks. Users can pause or resume music, as well as answer or end calls, with just one swipe. The user can go ahead on their playlist or reject a call with two consecutive presses. Users can also go back by tapping three times in a row. Users can choose between Active sounds Cancellation and Transparency Mode, which enables outside sounds to enter, by pressing and holding one of the earbuds. The IP54 rating for dust and water protection applies to the Nothing Ear 2.
