Infinix GT 10 Pro series is expected to launch in India soon. The smartphone maker previously teased the phone to feature a rear panel with a design similar to the Nothing Phone 2 with LED light strips. Now, the company has revealed the design of both models in the series ahead of its debut. The series is expected to comprise an Infinix GT 10 Pro model and an Infinix GT 10 Pro+ model. Notably, Nothing Phone 2 launched in India on July 11 and went on sale in India for the first time on Friday.
The design revealed by Infinix ahead of the launch shows an “interactive backlight interface” where small strips of LED lights are seen placed alongside the camera units on the rectangular module. It is reminiscent of the Nothing Phone’s Glyph Interface that allows the LED panels on the back of the handsets to alert users of certain notifications and alerts.
According to Infinix, the lights will come on when a game is started on the phone, for other notifications, and to show how much the phone is charging.
The CEO of Nothing, Carl Pei, had earlier tweeted, “Time to get the lawyers ready!” with a laughing emoji in response to the announcement that Infinix planned to release the GT series phone that was modeled after the Nothing Phone 2. Recently, it was also suggested that a Tecno Pova smartphone would have an LED light strip on the back panel and use software dubbed the Arc Interface.
Infinix’s pre-launch design teased a “interactive backlight interface” with tiny LED.
The GT 10 Pro series would include full-HD+ displays, 108-megapixel triple-rear camera systems with 32-megapixel front sensors, and 5,000mAh batteries, according to a previous report. The MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC is anticipated to power the GT 10 Pro, while the MediaTek Dimensity 8050 chipset is anticipated for the GT 10 Pro+. Both devices are anticipated to utilize XOS 13, which is based on Android 13.
The incorporated LED light panel element was referred to by the business as a “cyber mecha design.” The GT 10 series models will be offered in Cyber Black and Mirage Silver, according to the press release. The Mirage Silver model has a color-changing design that, according to the manufacturer, reflects steel blue and dusty pink colors when exposed to UV light, while the Cyber Black model has vivid orange accents on the back panel.
Although it is anticipated that the Indian market would only receive the Infinix GT 10 Pro model, previous sources have revealed that the company will likely launch the series globally in August.
