These smartphones are described as “mission-ready” devices that handle “the requirements of tactical and classified applications”. The US military’s security needs are being met by their design. Despite receiving new software, security measures, and a tough case, the phones’ core functions—such as display features and others—remain unchanged.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Tactical Edition characteristics include Night vision mode, stealth mode, the lock screen rotating automatically, and other unique features are only available on the Galaxy S23 Tactical Edition. Other primary features, such as a 6.1-inch full-HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, are identical to those of the usual Galaxy S23.

The Galaxy XCover 6 Pro Tactical Edition also has unique tactical features and a tough design that is believed to have passed a 1.5-m drop test and MIL-STD-810H testing. Additionally, it boasts an IP68 rating for resistance to water, sand, dirt, and dust.
It offers a 6.6-inch PLS LCD screen with full-HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is powered by a Snapdragon 778G SoC and 6GB of RAM. The phone has a 50-megapixel main sensor on its twin rear cameras and a 4,050mAh battery.
