Software for tactical radios and mission-critical devices is stated to be pre-configured for the Samsung Galaxy S23 and Galaxy XCover 6 Pro Tactical Edition.

Launched in the United States as military-focused smartphones are the Samsung Galaxy S23 Tactical Edition and Galaxy XCover 6 Pro. These smartphones are described as “mission-ready” devices that handle “the requirements of tactical and classified applications”. The US military’s security needs are being met by their design. Features like the Android Team Awareness Kit (ATAK) and the Battlefield Assisted Trauma Distributed Observation Kit (BATDOK) are included. Despite receiving new software, security measures, and a tough case, the phones’ core functions—such as display features and others—remain unchanged.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Tactical Edition characteristics include Night vision mode, stealth mode, the lock screen rotating automatically, and other unique features are only available on the Galaxy S23 Tactical Edition. Other primary features, such as a 6.1-inch full-HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, are identical to those of the usual Galaxy S23.

It offers a 6.6-inch PLS LCD screen with full-HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is powered by a Snapdragon 778G SoC and 6GB of RAM. The phone has a 50-megapixel main sensor on its twin rear cameras and a 4,050mAh battery.
