Nothing Phone 2 is ready to launch worldwide next month. The company has assured that it will release its new flagship smartphone in India, the US, and other markets in July. The exact launch date of the Phone 2 is yet to be confirmed. Prior to the launch, Nothing has been teasing the specifications and features of the Phone 2. The company has also provided a glimpse of the phone’s design, indicating that it will continue to feature a semi-transparent design.
A month before the launch, the design specifications of the Phone 2 have leaked online. Tipster OnLeaks and SmartPrix have shared design renders of the upcoming Nothing flagship smartphone. The renders reveal that the device has a transparent back panel with LED strips. While the design language remains similar to the Phone 1, there are a few introduced changes. This phone boasts a slightly curved rear and front panel, reminiscent of a 2.5D design, which adds to the sleek and ergonomic feel of the device. The front of the device features thin bezels around the display, along with a hole-punch cutout at the top left corner. The frame of the device is also slightly rounded, distinguishing it from the previous model. Nothing has confirmed that the device will feature 100% recycled aluminum. The SIM tray is located on the right side, while the power and volume keys are on the left edge. At the bottom, there is a USB Type-C port and the primary speaker grille.
The upcoming Phone 2 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, unlocking various camera features and offering impressive power efficiency compared to the Snapdragon 778G+ SoC.
