Avolites is set to showcase its latest innovation, the Diamond 7 (D7) console, at this year’s show, located at stand D28, Hall 12.1. Following the success of the flagship Diamond 9 (D9) console, the D7 represents the next evolution in lighting control technology. While the full product launch is scheduled for the end of the summer, the initial product launch at the show will allow Avolites to gather valuable feedback from lighting designers and operators, as well as conduct extensive product testing throughout the festival season.
The D7 console will be available in two variants, the D7-330 and D7-215, featuring three and two screens, and 30 and 15 faders respectively. These variants will be showcased on the stand and available for individual demonstration.
Key features of the D7 include a new clamshell screen panel and locking mechanism, along with a control surface design that follows the Diamond 9 design language. The D9-215 variant is designed to fit into a standard Peli-Air case and falls under the European 23kg aircraft hold weight limit.
Accompanying the D7 console is the release of Titan version 17, the latest version of Avolites’ popular lighting control software. Scheduled for release on March 19th, v17 focuses on enhancing user experience and optimizing performance for larger shows and longer programming sessions. This release will be followed by a new version of the remote app for both Android and iOS.
Some of the key improvements in Titan v17 include enhancements to the color picker, personality builder, cue list macro target console option, and the ability to convert between hardware trigger and item trigger, among others. A full list of performance updates and bug fixes can be found in the Titan v17 Release Notes on Avolites.com/support/downloads.
In addition to the console and software updates, Avolites will also be demonstrating Prism, its latest media software application. Prism One, the first licensed version of Prism, will be available for demonstration at the show. Prism One is designed to provide lighting operators and designers with easy access to powerful video features, complementing high-end Ai specialist media applications. This release further develops Synergy, enhancing the integration of lighting and video and enabling designers to realize their creative ambitions.
Avolites plans to fully release Prism One (licence level) in the spring of 2024. Key features of this release include multiple layers, a preview window, live inputs (capture cards and webcams), and NDI inputs. The updated UI includes a bank table view and thumbnail view, along with additional features such as adding surface pages, adding output pages, and cross-fade on layers.
