The Made in India alternative of TikTok app, the Mitron App is back on Google Playstore after it was removed for violating the privacy policies. If developers at Mitron can fix the issues, it can be resubmitted and will be back again, mentioned Google in a statement.

“A number of recent app removals received particular attention in India and we wanted to clarify our actions. Earlier this week, we removed a video app for a number of technical policy violations. We have an established process of working with developers to help them fix issues and resubmit their apps. We’ve given this developer some guidance and once they’ve addressed the issue, the app can go back up on Play”, mentioned Google in its statement.

The app received a great response and was downloaded by millions. The app was under scrutiny after a Pakistani coding company said the source code of the app was developed by them.

The source code provider of the app, Irfan Sheikh said that it has security flaws as the developer did not make any changes in the source code, which was purchased for $34 (Rs 2,500). Sheikh also mentioned that the develop didn’t even bother to change the privacy policies of the app after purchasing and before uploading it on Play Store.
