Google has pulled down 2500 Chinese YouTube videos from April to June, stating that they were dis informing the public.
Most of these videos were spammy and non- political. However with a small political beset, as said by Alpha,company of Google.
Google has been doing as a part of ongoing investigation against China. Earlier too China has been alleged for spreading disinformation.
On this statement by Google, no response has been seen from Beijing side.
Disinformation by foreign players has been quite problematic for US politics, especially during times of elections. Online media is bumped with disinformation during times of elections, diverting beguile public from mainstream and real news since 2016.
Hence Google is trying to take measures to stop these in consideration of public interest.
