Apple just introduced two new iPad Pro models under the radar. The iPad Pro versions for 2022 come in two screen sizes and are run by Apple’s potent M2 processor. They also support the Apple Pencil’s hover functionality and have optional 5G connectivity.

Apple iPad Pro (2022) Price in India

The new 11-inch iPad Pro will cost between Rs 81,900 and Rs 96,900 in India, depending on whether it includes cellular service. The new 12.9-inch iPad Pro will cost between Rs. 1,12,900 and Rs. 1,27,900 in India, depending on whether it includes cellular service.

The new 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models come in Silver and Space Grey finishes and in storage capacities of 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB. Additionally, you may buy the Apple Pencil (2nd Gen) separately for Rs 11,900. The latest iPad Pro models are on sale in India on October 26 and are already available for pre-order.

Apple iPad Pro (2022) Specifications

Apple’s proprietary M2 chip, which the firm claims is 15% quicker than the M1 SoC, powers the new iPad Pro versions. The new M2 processor has 50% greater unified memory bandwidth than the M1 chip and a 35% improvement in graphics performance. The iPad Pro (2022) variants can be configured with up to 2TB of storage and up to 16GB of unified memory.

Two display options are available for the iPad Pro (2022): a 12.9-inch Liquid Retina XDR mini-LED display with a resolution of 2048 x 2732 pixels and an 11-inch Liquid Retina display with a resolution of 1688 x 2388 pixels. With a 120Hz refresh rate, Apple’s ProMotion display is used in both of the new iPad Pro versions. Additionally, they support P3 wide colour gamut reproduction and True Tone. Last but not least, the 12.9-inch model promises a screen brightness of 1,600 nits.

The new iPad Pro models enable 5G connection, including mmWave 5G in the US, Thunderbolt 4, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6E, and Lightning. Four speakers and five microphones are included in the two latest iPad Pro models. A 20W converter is also included in the box. The new iPad Pro models (2022) will function with iPadOS 16.

The iPad Pro (2022) versions have two cameras: a 10 MP ultrawide camera with an f/2.4 aperture and a LiDAR scanner, and a 12 MP wide camera with an f/1.8 aperture. A 12 MP ultrawide camera with an f/2.4 aperture and Center Stage capability is also included on the front. The 2nd Gen Apple Pencil can now be detected up to 12 mm above the display, making it possible to sketch and illustrate with more accuracy.
