The Serb couldn’t defend his title at the Australian Open 2022 following vaccination mandates and visa cancellation which was won by Rafael Nadal. He is now one Slam away from trying with the Spaniard who bagged both the initial Grand Slams and was bidding for a calendar slam but withdrew at the semifinals against Kyrgios following injury.
