Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso has dismissed growing rumours suggesting that some players are attempting to push him out of the club, insisting he remains fully supported and completely committed to the job. Speaking to the media, Alonso addressed the speculation head-on, labelling the noise around the team as a distraction he refuses to entertain.

“I feel support here, I’m enjoying the Real Madrid job,” Alonso stressed, adding that managing the Spanish giants is both “very demanding” and “a privilege.”

The former midfielder, who took over amid high expectations, acknowledged the team’s inconsistent form but maintained that such challenges are part of the Real Madrid experience. “Good moments, bad moments, it all comes with it. I’m really enjoying it,” he said.

When asked whether players have the influence to fire a coach, Alonso chose not to escalate the controversy. “I’m not gonna answer. I have a lot of respect for my players,” he maintained.

The coach urged focus and unity within the squad, refusing to let outside talk interfere with their objectives. “We can’t focus on outside noise. We need to focus on our work, performances, and relationships in the dressing room,” he stated. He reiterated that his only concern is what happens on the training ground. “I don’t care about anything else.”
