The Dutch got off to a strong start when Denzel Dumfries fired in a brilliant strike in the first half, giving the Oranje the lead and lifting the home crowd. They looked well in control and continued to create chances, but their failure to kill off the game proved costly.
Poland, showing grit and resilience, fought back in the latter stages. With just ten minutes left on the clock, Aston Villa right-back Matty Cash found the back of the net, leveling the score at 1-1. His crucial goal secured a valuable point for the visitors against a Netherlands side that had been looking sharp.
