Juventus FC who were on Jean Clair-Todibo deal for months are now shocked as the PL club West Ham United emerged as the new buyer and the agreement has been done with them. It was a hijack deal from West Ham for the centre-back who wants a move away from OGC Nice.

Defender Jean Clair-Todibo agreed to join Juventus but the fee wasn’t accepted by Nice. West Ham came in between and took Todibo with them by agreeing the fee with OGC Nice. The deal is of €40 million plus sell-on clause.

West Ham United have successfully hijacked Juventus FC’s long-standing pursuit of French defender Jean-Clair Todibo. The centre-back, who has been eager to leave OGC Nice, was initially set to join the Italian giants. Juventus had been in negotiations with Nice for months, and Todibo had even agreed on personal terms with the Turin-based club.

However, the deal hit a block as Juventus and Nice failed to reach an agreement on the transfer fee. Juventus were reluctant to meet the French club’s asking price, which opened the door for other clubs to swoop in. West Ham United seized the opportunity and swiftly moved to secure Todibo’s services.
