Kylian Mbappe is a long-time interest of Real Madrid and the Spanish club almost tried to get the player in the previous summer transfer window that went one of the wildest ever. The club eyes to have Mbappe and Erling Haaland who currently is the attention for rivals FC Barcelona.

While the Los Blancos strives to sign the Frenchman, Paris Saint-Germain on the other hand had failed attempts to renew Mbappe and tried everything to keep him. Meanwhile, there were rumours of offering a €50 million salary for the player, to which the PSG director claimed to be false. “The last thing we will put on Mbappe’s contract will be the salary amount,” Leonardo told L’Equipe, reported football transfer expert and Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano. He further spoke about the probabilities to extend the player’s contract and said that as long as there are no other clubs in communication, PSG will aim everything and will do “everything to keep Kylian Mbappe.”

Leonardo also said to L’Equipe that they want to keep Mbappe in the best conditions “to become the best player possible.”

Between this ongoing dispute in both the clubs, Mbappe has not spoken anything about his renewal or leaving! The 23-year-old who dreams to play for the 13-times Champions League winners has stated that he is only thinking about his time with the Ligue 1 side and to face Real Madrid in the Champions League tier. On the other hand, PSG has accused the La Liga table toppers of being disrespectful towards the club for talking to sign Mbappe while he still plays for them.

PSG and the Whites will be in action again on 10th March at 1:30 am IST for their return leg at the Santiago Bernabeu where the French club leads 1-0 aggregate with Mbappe’s late winner at Paris. According to MARCA, it took less than four hours for the last 6000 tickets of the 2nd tie to be sold out at the Spanish capital explains everything that the fans are still in hope of despite losing the 1st.
