International break couldn’t be better for England as they defeated Greece by 3-0 in the Nations League last night. It was a dominating game for the English side and their upcoming manager of 2025 Thomas Tuchel will be happy to see their performance. Except an own goal from Vlachodimos, Ollie Watkins and Curtis Jones were the scorers for England in this game.
The international break couldn’t have come at a better time for England, as they showcased a commanding performance to defeat Greece 3-0 in the Nations League. Playing in front of an enthusiastic home crowd, the English side dominated from start to finish, leaving their fans with plenty of optimism for the future.
The scoring began early in the match with an unfortunate own goal from Greek goalkeeper Odysseas Vlachodimos, who misjudged a low cross, inadvertently sending the ball into his own net. From that point on, England took complete control, dictating the tempo and creating numerous chances.
Ollie Watkins was quick to capitalize on a Greek defensive error, skillfully slotting home England’s second goal to increase their lead. His movement and timing in the box were a reminder of his growing importance in England’s attack.
