Having won the first leg 2-0 in Rotterdam, Inter entered the return fixture with a solid advantage. Feyenoord showed resilience and briefly threatened a comeback when Santiago Giménez scored, but Simone Inzaghi’s side responded well. Thuram opened the scoring early, capitalizing on a defensive lapse, before Çalhanoglu’s stunning long-range effort restored Inter’s two-goal cushion.
