Inter Milan defeated Porto in aggregate to get the qualification into the last 8 of the UEFA Champions League (2022/23 season). Inter Milan and FC Porto met with a goalless draw in the second leg of the round of 16. As the Serie A side scored a goal in the first leg, so they ease past Porto and have got into the quarter-finals.
It was not a thrilling game but both the teams tried hard to score. FC Porto had the chance to equalise, which would take the game to extra-time and possibly penalties. FC Porto is now out of the competition and Inter Milan joined Chelsea, Manchester City, and Bayern Munich in the last 8 of the league.
Inter Milan reached the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League for the first time in 12 years.
