Juventus has submitted its first official offer to Atalanta for Dutch midfielder Teun Koopmeiners. The proposal on the table is €45 million, with personal terms having been agreed upon by Koopmeiners and Juventus in May. However, Atalanta has consistently asked for a higher fee.

The bid comes after Juventus secured significant funds from recent player sales. Matias Soule was sold to Roma for €25.6 million, plus €4 million in bonuses, while Dean Huijsen fetched €15.2 million with an additional €3 million in add-ons. These deals have raised over €40 million in guaranteed fees for Juventus, which will be used to increase their offer for Koopmeiners.

Juventus’ initial offer was rejected as Atalanta’s price tag is reportedly €60 million. The club is expected to submit a revised bid soon.

Additionally, the departure of Adrien Rabiot, who rejected a contract extension, has freed up wage space for Juventus. The club is also considering the sale of Federico Chiesa, who is in the final year of his contract, to avoid losing him for free next year.
