Tottenham Hotspur boss Thomas Frank has urged for calm and patience as he insists there is “no quick fix” to the club’s ongoing struggles following a damaging 3–0 defeat to Nottingham Forest in the Premier League. Spurs’ poor performance at the City Ground marked a difficult afternoon for the Danish coach and left questions lingering over the team’s direction.

Tottenham fell behind early after a costly mistake out from the back was punished by Callum Hudson-Odoi, who scored the opening goal before adding a second soon after. Ibrahim Sangaré sealed the emphatic win for Forest, exposing Spurs’ defensive vulnerabilities and inconsistency in front of goal.

With just 22 points from 16 league games, Tottenham sit mid-table and trail the Champions League places, continuing a run of form that has seen them lose six times this season.

Frank acknowledged the team’s disappointing display but was adamant that immediate turnaround is unrealistic. “This is not a quick fix,” he said, stressing that stability and time are essential to improve performances and embed his ideas.
