Tottenham Hotspur’s manager Thomas Frank has spoken about his star man who scored two goals in the last weekend (first matchweek of PL 2025/26) to win the game against Burnley. The striker is rumoured to be leaving the side in this current summer transfer window. However, the manager has denied all these reports by saying, “Right now, he is my starting nine. He scored two top goals. Richy wants to stay and I want to keep him.”
Tottenham Hotspur manager Thomas Frank has dismissed speculation linking Richarlison with a move away from North London this summer.
The Brazilian striker was the hero in Spurs’ opening Premier League fixture of the 2025/26 season, netting twice in a crucial win over Burnley. His performance immediately sparked fresh rumours about a potential transfer, but Frank was quick to put them to bed.
“Right now, he is my starting nine. He scored two top goals. Richy wants to stay and I want to keep him,” the Danish boss said after the match.
Richarlison’s future has been a hot topic throughout the transfer window, with several clubs reportedly interested in his services. However, his manager’s comments underline Spurs’ determination to keep hold of their main striker as they look to build momentum in the new campaign.
