Manchester City have been dealt another major setback as veteran right-back Kyle Walker has decided to leave the club, following the earlier departure of midfield maestro Kevin De Bruyne. The double exit marks the end of an era at the Etihad, with two of City’s most influential figures set to part ways.
In response to Walker’s decision, City have turned their attention to Tottenham Hotspur’s rising star Destiny Udogie. The 21-year-old Italian full-back, known for his pace, strength, and attacking contributions, is reportedly high on Manchester City’s shortlist to fill the void left by Walker.
Udogie’s impressive performances under Ange Postecoglou have not gone unnoticed, and his versatility could make him an ideal fit in Pep Guardiola’s evolving system. While negotiations are still at an early stage, City are expected to push hard to secure the young defender’s services ahead of the new season.
