With two weeks remaining in the window to close, Gündogan is finding other clubs to play on in the 2024/25 season. However this is just a rumour but this could be one of the possibility in this window.
Ilkay Gündogan, who joined FC Barcelona just this summer, is reportedly set to leave the club in the coming days as the transfer window remains open for two more weeks. The German midfielder, known for his composure and playmaking abilities, is already exploring options for the 2024/25 season.
Recent reports suggest that a return to Manchester City, where Gündogan enjoyed immense success under Pep Guardiola, could be on the cards. Guardiola, who values Gündogan’s versatility and leadership, is rumored to be interested in bringing him back to the Etihad Stadium.
While this is currently speculative, it wouldn’t be surprising if City makes a move to reunite with one of their former stars. Gündogan’s departure from Barcelona would certainly add an intriguing twist to the final days of the transfer window.
