Sergi Roberto is officially leaving Barcelona, with West Ham United emerging as a top contender to sign the experienced midfielder. According to Catalunya Radio, West Ham, along with Aston Villa and Ajax, are interested in the 32-year-old player.

Despite efforts by Deco to convince Roberto to stay at Barcelona, there is no certainty he will be registered for the upcoming 2024/25 season. Roberto has been a loyal servant to Barcelona since making his debut in 2010, amassing 373 appearances and scoring notable goals, including the dramatic winner in the 6-1 Champions League match against PSG in 2017.

West Ham’s interest in Roberto aligns with manager Julen Lopetegui’s strategy, given his connections to the Spanish national team. The move could see Roberto bring his experience to the Premier League this summer.
