Barcelona dropped two crucial points in their La Liga clash against Rayo Vallecano last night, as Hansi Flick’s men failed to make the most of their dominance.

The Catalan giants started brightly, creating several chances but lacked the finishing touch. Their breakthrough came in the 40th minute when youngster Lamine Yamal converted from the penalty spot to give Barça a deserved lead.

However, Rayo Vallecano showed resilience after the break, growing into the game and eventually finding the equaliser in the second half. Despite Barcelona pushing hard in search of a winner, their wastefulness in front of goal cost them dearly as the contest ended 1-1.

The result leaves Barcelona frustrated, as Flick’s side continue to struggle for consistency in their bid to keep pace with the La Liga leaders.
