Real Madrid have been handed a huge boost ahead of a crucial period in their season, with both Antonio Rüdiger and Aurélien Tchouaméni making positive progress in their recoveries from injury. According to reports from El Partidazo de COPE, the duo are edging closer to full fitness and could soon be back in action for Los Blancos.

The German defender and the French midfielder have been sidelined for several weeks, forcing Xabi Alonso to rely on alternative options in defence and midfield. Rüdiger, who has been one of Madrid’s most consistent performers this season, picked up a knock that ruled him out of recent fixtures. Meanwhile, Tchouaméni suffered a stress fracture that kept him out of action since late October, depriving Madrid of his physical presence and composure in the middle of the park.

However, both players have responded well to treatment and rehabilitation, and their return to the pitch is now within sight. If everything goes according to plan, Rüdiger and Tchouaméni could be available for selection either against Olympiacos in the UEFA Champions League or Girona in La Liga.
