Real Madrid winger Rodrygo has clarified his future, insisting that he remains fully committed to the Spanish giants. In an exclusive conversation, the Brazilian forward emphasized his love for the club and his willingness to embrace any role on the pitch, following direct talks with new manager Xabi Alonso.
“Until Real Madrid want, I’ll stay. I love this club,” Rodrygo told Diario AS, leaving no doubt about his intentions. The 22-year-old also revealed that upon Alonso’s arrival, the legendary former midfielder personally reached out to discuss his role in the squad.
Rodrygo said, “When he arrived, Xabi Alonso called me to talk and told me: I know that you like to play on the left, but I’ll also need you in other positions.” The forward stressed his readiness to adapt to the coach’s plans, adding, “I told Xabi that I don’t mind… he can just put me wherever he wants and needs, I’m here to help the team. We have to respect the coach’s decisions.”
