Real Madrid has issued “communicado oficials” to convey big official signings, communications regarding important club affairs and the creation of the short-lived Super League itself but today, they had to post an official communication to refute strange reports coming from the local Spanish media.

The news? Real Madrid are angry with La Liga and its president Javier Tebas for pushing through the CVC Capital Partners investment fund deal. There is indeed a conflict between both parties, in regards to this deal but that was not the strange part.

Spanish paper, Mundo Deportivo reported that Florentino Perez, president of Real Madrid, dissatisfied with the dealings of the La Liga, will likely join another league. The report mentioned the Premier League as their top choice. The club officials are tired of La Liga’s problems and they consider Tebas to be a constant obstacle to the club, according to the report. Perez, also, is apparently looking at opportunities in the Serie A and Bundesliga.

Real Madrid had to publish an official communication regarding this report in the Mundo Deportivo and refuted it. They called it absolutely “false, absurd and impossible.”

The official statement says, “Given the information published today by the newspaper Mundo Deportivo, in which it says that our club studied the possibility of moving from La Liga to the Premier [League], Real Madrid wants to assert that this information is completely false, absurd and impossible and it only intends to disturb, once more, the day to day of our club.”

With this statement, they have crushed the wildest thoughts of every fan. Real Madrid will start their league campaign against Alaves, on Saturday.
