Real Madrid have reportedly decided not to fine or take any disciplinary action against Vinicius Junior following his emotional reaction to being substituted during their recent match.
According to Marca, the club considers the incident to be a personal matter between head coach Xabi Alonso and the Brazilian forward. Sources close to the club stated that Vinicius’ outburst won’t be sanctioned in any form, as Madrid management believes it stemmed purely from frustration related to a tactical decision.
“The club knows that it’s a matter between Xabi Alonso and the Brazilian to discuss, and every decision made will come from the coach himself,” La Ser reported.
Vinicius’ visible frustration on the touchline came as a surprise to many at the Santiago Bernabéu, especially given the timing of his substitution. However, Marca added that Madrid hierarchy views his reaction as a heat-of-the-moment response rather than an act of disrespect.
