Manchester City’s manager Pep Guardiola wasn’t happy after their Champions League clash against RB Leipzig on Wednesday night, 22nd February. City faced a disappointing draw in the first leg of the round of 16 tie at Red Bull Arena Leipzig. The end scoreline was 1-1 because of which Pep Guardiola wasn’t impressed with the team’s performance.

Pep Guardiola gave an honest opinion after the game as he thought City players weren’t up to the mark and the efforts from them wasn’t enough. Manchester City scored first but couldn’t hold on to their lead. The second half equaliser goal from Gvardiol ruined Pep Guardiola’s mood.

Pep also said that he wants to see more of Haaland. He thinks Haaland should be more involved in the game.

“I saw the players, they were heads down. I said: why are your heads down, be heads up, it was really good the way you play. He’s (Haaland) 100% adapted to Man City. We need to find him more in the game, and get the passes to him,” said Pep Guardiola as reported by Fabrizio Romano via Twitter.
