Paul Pogba has sparked interest in leaving Manchester United at the end of the season for new clubs with the potential of bigger trophies, a spokesperson for the French international said. His current deal will expire in the summer of 2022 and the 28-year-old could potentially be the next big exit for the historical English club.
While United has tried for the renewal of Pogba’s contract, Juventus, Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain have shown great interest in acquiring the Frenchman at the end of the season. He is motivated to win bigger trophies away from United, said his trainer, according to Sport Witness. While the Red Devils would possibly look forward to a renewal of itself, football pundits say that it is the right move for the midfielder in terms of separation and change as the English Club hasn’t been a favourite of his following the appointment of former Manchester United manager, Ole Solskjaer, who has dropped him multiple times from the squad. This has changed the Frenchman’s sentiments towards United. Although Pogba transferred from Juventus to United, he could make a return for Turin as he still maintains a cordial relationship with the Old Lady.
Pogba remains ambitious about his contributions to bigger clubs and trophies as unfortunately, United is not a contender for it, currently. He is linked to Juventus and PSG who are both ready to pay an astronomical wage to contain him at the end of the season and he is set to leave Old Trafford on a free transfer.
