Milos Kerkez has officially signed for Liverpool FC for €40 million from Bournemouth and the deal has been announced. Liverpool wanted a new left-back in the summer transfer window and they’ve got it finally.
Liverpool have officially bolstered their defensive line by signing 21‑year‑old Hungarian left-back Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth for approximately £40 million (about €47 million) on a five‑year contract.
Kerkez emerged as one of the Premier League’s most dynamic full-backs last season – he started all 38 league games for Bournemouth, contributing 2 goals and 6 assists. Known for his electrifying underlapping and overlapping runs, he ranked among the top full-backs for progressive carries, crosses, and sprints.
This signing marks Liverpool’s third major addition of the summer, following right-back Jeremie Frimpong and midfield maestro Florian Wirtz, pushing their total spending to around £170 million–£200 million.
Kerkez arrives knowing he’ll push Andy Robertson (and possibly Kostas Tsimikas) for the starting berth, stirring speculation around Robertson’s future at the club.
