Myziane Maolida is preparing for a move to the Saudi Pro League after a successful loan spell at Hibernian. The French forward, who impressed with 11 goals and two assists during his time in Scotland, has completed his medical tests with Al Kholood, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

Maolida’s stint at Hibs was a highlight in an otherwise challenging season for the club. The 26-year-old expressed gratitude for his time at Hibernian, praising the warm welcome he received and the confidence shown by coach Nick Montgomery.

“I felt very welcomed at Hibernian,” Maolida said. “The coach and his staff gave me confidence and made me feel like I could focus on my football. Nick Montgomery’s belief in me was a major factor in my decision to join the team.”

With his move to Al Kholood now confirmed, Maolida is set to become the latest player to make the switch from European football to the Saudi Pro League.
