The club football is set to resume again after a wonderful season of the FIFA World Cup. The world cup has now ended and the players are ready to compete at the club level again. Some of the players are back at their respective clubs and some of them are yet to join.
Ahead of the remainder of the club football, Premier League side Manchester United has triggered the option to extend four players’ contracts. This was reported by an Italian football journalist named Fabrizio Romano on Tuesday, 20th December. Fabrizio Romano posted about this on his official Instagram handle on the same day.
The four Manchester United players who have been given the option to extend their contracts are namely Marcus Rashford, Diogo Dalot, Luke Shaw, and Fred. The English striker Marcus Rashford and Diogo Dalot is expected to be given longer contract as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
“Manchester United has triggered the options to extend the contracts of these players until June 2024.
